Metadata mapping and export is under consideration time permitting.

Metadata: custom format to support needs of simulations; highly complex information stored to support search and selection
Posted by Johnr at 2010-01-13 12:27:39
Formats: simulations range from ppt to complex groups of html pages. Materials contain diverse video and audio mime types.
Posted by Johnr at 2010-01-13 12:25:42
Granularity: whole simulations but composite elements can be removed. Simulations contain narrative and metadata as a minimum.

Jorum deposit and versioning: concern over duplication as resources evolve rapidly in law and updating, versioning, and derivatives.

Jorum deposit: currently planning to provide links; relatively small number of projects so will use deposit tool manually.

Preview/ viewer functionality (for simulations) was key driver in creation of own repository
Posted by Johnr at 2010-01-13 12:06:32
Created own repository using PHP and MySQL; source code may become available
Posted by Johnr at 2010-01-13 12:05:04
SIMPLE uses its own custom format for aggregation and learning design; preview visualations display narrative overview of simulation.

Simshare accepts a wide variety of types of simulation (not just those created by SIMPLE)
