Overall the project are finding that the online submission processes they are helping to develop are raising wider questions around assessment and feedback practice e.g. consistency of feedback

QMP - proving very popular in English dept. Were already doing MCQ, team hope the will know be able to create richer MCQs, using video/audio, provide more flexible delivery and that it will be used more for formative assessments which tie into final mark. It is also proving useful for providing additional feedback opportunities for students.

The inhouse assessment submission tool is proving more popular than Turnitin/gradebook - team suspect this might be because it accepts all file formats. However the team are also aware that there are some storage issues that need to be addressed around this with the IT department.

Team have had very positive feedback so far on new assessment workflows. The assessment submission tool is proving very popular and cutting down on lots of admin work/time and ensuring that students get notification of assessments being received within 48 hours.

The pedagogical assessment and feedback practice will be benchmarked using refined versions of the Assessment for Teaching and Learning Audit Benchmarks questionnaire (http://journals.sfu.ca/ijea/index.php/journal/article/view/18) with staff and students, and applying Appreciative Inquiry (AI) methods to identify development plans.
