Intent is to include any type of OER resource - if textual will attempt to include textual content in full text search/ Waypoint index (to improve recall [&granularity] )

such a plugin is primarily focused on creating an RSS for resources generating plugin; costs and time permitting a similar plugin may be developed for OAI-PMH / OAI-dc

classification can be modified as seen fit/ on the fly (can classify 10-100 000 records an hour so easy to change)

waypoint uses lucene to index doc (structured xml) then uses constraint-based classification to associate content with nodes in the classification scheme (can be faceted); lucene also supports free text search
