UK Centre for Bioscience OER Project

The objective is to increase awareness of the OER approach in the Bioscience and establish examples across a range of disciplines by providing examples of projects which de-constructed a collection of content into independent learning objects as far as reasonably possible.

Tried out InfoPath forms in SharePoint - this has been a technical success but perhaps more suited to very large consortia/ projects with more constant formal communication needs

Used SharePoint for sharing documentation. This has piloted and triggered use of SharePoint in the Academy

Once content in JorumOpen greater use of web2.0 tools is anticipated. Many sub-projects have begun to blog about their resources.
